Children’s Ministry
SJAMCC currently does not have an active Children’s Ministry.
Congregational Care Team
Designed to meet the many emotional, physical and spiritual needs of this congregation. There are a number of ministry opportunities within this team to include prayer teams, home and hospital visits, mentoring for new people in the church, hospitality, worship leaders, greeters, ushers, and many more. Deaconate
Shared participation in worship; i.e. consecration and communion, assists the pastor with crisis intervention needs, holy unions/weddings, funerals and memorial services, sermons, home and hospital visits, etc.
Food Pantry Ministry
Open Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and is located at the church. To serve on this team you can call the church office or send a message to the Food Pantry Ministry through the contact form.
Building and Grounds Ministry
Maintains the gardens and land beautification, serves the physical needs and ongoing building repairs and safety of the church. This ministry team is growing and is open to the many talents and skills needed. Liturgical Arts Ministry
Liturgical Arts is worship art –the terms are synonymous. Simply put, it is any art that supports and encourages the act of worship. Liturgical art is not a singular medium. It is more an issue of context than a given technique. Any art can be liturgical art if it is used in the context of worship. The primary purpose of liturgical art is to invite the participation of all present in the act of worship.
Music Ministry
Provides musical support for worship to include preludes, hymns, anthems, special music, instrumentals, etc.
Worship Team Ministry
The worship team is comprised of the deacons, ushers, greeters, prayer team, musicians and choir, altar guild, audio, visual and soundboard ministry, liturgical artist, lay ministers, servers, holders, acolytes, cross bearer, and children’s ministry.
